Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes are widely used in manufacturing industries such as construction, machinery, coal mining, chemical industry, power, railway vehicles, automobile industry, highways, bridges, containers, sports facilities, agricultural machinery, petroleum machinery, mining machinery, and greenhouse construction. Furthermore, 60% of galvanized strip steel and galvanized pipes are exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, and other countries and regions.

Galvanized steel pipes are welded steel pipes with a hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized coating. Galvanizing increases the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe and extends its service life. Galvanized steel pipes are a link in the metallurgical new materials industrial chain. Besides being used as pipelines for general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, and oil, they are also used in the petroleum industry, especially in offshore oil fields, for oil well pipes and oil pipelines; for oil heaters, condensers, and coal tar washing oil exchangers in chemical and coking equipment; and for trestle piles and support frames in mine tunnels. Galvanized steel pipes are also used in downstream industries such as machinery manufacturing and automotive parts.
